Edelman Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electric & Solar

I had a water heater and sump pump replaced on Wednesday, and I’m very pleased with the service. Andy was extremely thorough and patient in answering all of my curious questions. He had quite a haul getting the new water heater downstairs and bringing the old one back up, but he handled it professionalism. Once the job was complete, he cleaned the entire area and thoroughly tested both the water heater and sump pump to make sure everything was working properly. I would recommend Andy for the job! I was also having an issue with my septic system, so Andy ran a camera through the cleanout to check things out. Everything looked good, but he recommended having the septic tank pumped since it had been number of years. Edelman’s also asked me to contact them afterward so they could make sure everything was taken care of. The office staff and everyone in the field have been awesome to work with. Connie

I recently hired Edelman Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electric & Solar for some work at my property, and I could not be happier with the results. Finding a reliable local contractor can be tough, but their team made the entire process incredibly easy from start to finish. The technicians arrived right on time, conducted themselves with complete professionalism, and were transparent about the work needed and the pricing. It is easy to see why they are known for their high standards and honest service across Central Illinois. As a local, family-owned business, they truly treat every call as a top priority. Whether you need expert HVAC repair, residential plumbing, electrical wiring, or solar installation, I highly recommend Edelman. Having one dependable contractor who can handle multiple trades flawlessly is a total game-changer. I will definitely be using them for all my future home service needs!

Installation took about three hours. It was a bit challenging since the breaker box was at the opposite side of the house (basement) and garage. So some workarounds were necessary but eventually the job was completed, well done and professionally flawless and in compliance with standards. I have used the L2 charger just once for now but it does what it’s supposed to do.

Justin Dillman did work on our lights. Replaced an led disc light and an led can light. One was in a hard to reach place over a set of stairs. He was done quickly and was very professional. Lights function perfectly. He collected all of the malfunctioning lights, packaging, and debris and disposed of them for us. Justin was also very kind to my young kids who were fascinated by him and his work. I'm also a fan of the new maintenance program and signed up. Highly recommend!

We have been nothing but impressed by the service received from Edelman’s HVAC division. We bought a new Carrier 19 SEER heat pump from them a little over a year ago. We recently started encountering issues w the new system. The first rep, Camden, came out twice to assess and replace a part. He was timely, courtesy, and explained the issues. Then we learned the issue was more complicated than one part. Subsequently, another rep, Collier, came out several times for further assessment and required replacements due to Carrier’s faulty parts and incorrect labeling of parts. Collier spent a significant amount of time over a couple of days to learn the root case of the problem. Collier was always timely, pleasant, and determined to fix our system. He made our job a priority and fixed issues as soon as the parts arrived. He worked late, even during a major wind storm. Collier continually spent the extra time to discuss options and explain the problems and solutions in understandable terms. Furthermore, Collier installed two portable units when we were waiting for parts.  We were so thankful and impressed by his dedication, knowledge, expertise, drive to timely fix the system, and abil
